Why is this puck collectible? Start with the green St. Patrick’s Day commemorative design, a game in which the now-defunct Detroit Vipers defeated the Michigan K-Wings (Kalamazoo Wings), 4 – 3. A single-game puck defines rarity. Add to that the demise of the International Hockey League in 2001. The green puck features the K-Wings St. Patty’s Day logo on one side, and the logos of the competing clubs on the reverse.
