On March 12th, 2012, two football legends pledged to join forces and bring a Super Bowl championship to Denver. John Elway, a two-time Super Bowl champion, was the Denver Broncos President and General Manager. Peyton Manning was himself a Super Bowl winner but had missed the 2011 season with a career-threatening neck injury. Few teams wanted to take a chance on the thirty-six-year-old Manning. But Elway did, and the collaboration was magic. Manning led the Broncos to a 46-12 record, two Super Bowls, including a victory in Super Bowl 50, and a league record 5,477 passing yards in 2013. This plaque features a color photograph of Manning’s signing with Denver and a joyous John Elway. It measures 10.5” H X 13” W, mounted on a walnut wood base. Relive the football magic.
