Oil magnate Jack Vickers launched his penultimate project, The International PGA golf tournament, in 1986.  The new tournament stormed onto the golf scene, immediately becoming the top-rated tournament with worldwide TV viewers outside of the majors.  Did The International spark a fire in the sports world because it used the unique Modified Stableford scoring system (which awarded risk taking and penalized caution), or the picture postcard setting in Castle Pines, CO at the foot of the Rocky Mountains?  It was both.  Offered here is a deluxe set of hardbound books, one for each of the first five years of the tourney (the only five editions published).  Each volume features literary contributions from celebrated golf writers, color illustrations, magical photography and listings of golf accomplishments and statistics, all printed on coated paper stock.  Whether a golf aficionado, history or sports buff, or lover of good literature, this collection is for you.
