The original WHA lasted just seven seasons in the 1970’s. During the early 2000’s, plans were hatched to recreate the WHA. WHA and NHL legend Bobby Hull was tapped to be the new loop’s commissioner. Alas, the new WHA fared even worse than the original league, and never played a single game. Offered here is the proposed league’s official puck bearing the signature of Commissioner Hull and the logo used for both incarnations of the WHA. A puck from a league that never dropped a puck. Unlike the two WHA’s, that’s a winner.
