On September 10, 2001, the Denver Broncos played the New York Giants at Invesco Field at Mile High, the state-of-the-art stadium built to replace Mile High Stadium. More than 76,000 fans were deliriously happy after their hometown heroes christened the new stadium with a 31 – 20 victory over the G-Men. This is a limited-edition leather football with embossed graphics of the stadium logo and the event. The stadium, now Empower Field at Mile High, has seen its share of historic big games and players, but no event will top the first game at 5,280 feet in the shadows of the majestic Rocky Mountains.
