The Independence Bowl, launched in 1976, annually matches top college football teams in the Bayou State. In 2004, 43,000 fans watched the Iowa State Cyclones of the Big XII edge the Miami Ohio Redhawks of the Mid-America Conference in Shreveport. The ‘Clones used a punishing run game to top the Redhawks, with Ryan Kock rushing one yard for the winning score with two minutes remaining. This ticket features the original Independence Bowl patriotic eagle logo, long since retired.
