The 1985 Memphis Showboats went 11 – 7 and made the USFL playoffs in their second and last season in the upstart, springtime United States Football League. Running back Ricky Porter rushed for 186 yards and moved on to the NFL after the USFL folded. This is a team issued game jersey, but was likely not worn in league play, since Porter’s name is not affixed. Still, authentic USFL jerseys are getting tougher and tougher to find.
