Prior to the Taliban takeover of the Afghanistan government in August of 2021, the Afghani was the standard currency of the nation of Afghanistan. This One Afghani currency note, issued by Afghanistan’s central bank, Da Afghanistan Bank, was issued between 2010 and 2020. As you might expect, these notes are rare and prized by collectors since the fall of Kabul.
