During the 1990’s, the continent Down Under printed a beautiful five-dollar note featuring Queen Elizabeth II on one side, with the Old and New Parliament Houses, opened in 1927 and 1988, on the reverse. The images are the designer's interpretation of various architectural drawings and photographs. Above the images of the Old and New Parliament Houses is a plan for the New Parliament House.
