Before the Rockies joined Major League Baseball, the “other” Rockies roamed the ice at Denver’s McNichols Sports Arena, from 1976 to 1982. Loveable losers? Most definitely. The Rockies won just 113 of the 480 NHL games they played before pulling up stakes and heading to New Jersey to become the Devils. But they live on in NHL lore, with their triangle logo derived from the Colorado state flag. Beautiful puck from the NHL Vintage Hockey collection.
