Ex-Beatle Paul McCartney followed his legendary Beatles career by finding commercial success and critical acclaim with his new band, Wings. On May 27th, 1975, Wings released the follow-up to their Band On The Run album. Venus & Mars reached #1 on the charts in the U.S., United Kingdom, Germany, Japan and many other countries and went on to sell more than 4 million copies. This original sticker (3.75” diameter), which was never peeled and used and still carries its original backing, was inserted into the album sleeve. It is astounding to think that it survived nearly 50 years in Mint+ condition, but here it is. For Beatles, McCartney or rock aficionados, this is a valuable, rare, yet affordable collectible artifact, suitable for framing or display.
