With the re-emergence of a new league called the United States Football League, memorabilia from the original circuit are more valuable than ever. The Denver Gold, which played at Mile High Stadium, led the spring football league in attendance during its three-year run, 1983 to 1985. The Gold found favor in football-mad Denver because of Head Coaches Red Miller, who led the Broncos to the Super Bowl, and Craig Morton, who was Miller’s QB for that Super Bowl season. This pennant is white with screened graphics, including the Gold’s famed black-and-gold logo and the team wordmark. It comes in its original USFL package, as pristine as the day it rolled off the production line. This isn’t an updated re-release of an “Original 12: USFL pennant.” No, it’s the real thing, nearly 40 years old. A super item for any serious sports collector.
